Curriculum/Faculty Development

MRRC assists faculty in developing inclusive teaching and learning models to enhance student engagement, retention and achievement.   The Center also collaborates with academic and support units to provide applied research on topics related to campus speakers who address issues affecting multiculturalism, and conduct in-class workshops related to building community and handling controversial issues.  Our first collabortive publication is now online: MOSAIC !

We provide curriculum support to the following academic departments:

Department of Communication,College of Health and Human Services, Department of Recreation, Health and Tourism, School of Management, New Century College, Sociology & Anthropology, Aspiring Scientists, and the University transition courses.  We provide leadership and trainings for several student and staff groups and offices on campus such as Patriot Leaders, Leadership and Education students, Student Activities, Student Centers, and Housing and Residential Life.
