Classroom Presentations
Customized in-class presentations are designed with faculty in various disciplines to meet course objectives addressing diversity and inclusion to enhance student engagement, retention and achievement.
We provide curriculum support to the Department of Communication, College of Health and Human Services, Department of Recreation, Health and Tourism, School of Management, New Century College, Sociology & Anthropology, Aspiring Scientists, and the University transition courses.

Workshops
As a GMU National Coalition Building Institute Affiliate, we offer ongoing leadership workshops that create a more inclusive campus environment. Our team can also intervene when tough conflicts arise, either between campus groups or between the campus and the surrounding community. We provide leadership and trainings for several student and staff groups and offices on campus such as Patriot Leaders, Leadership and Education students, Student Activities, Student Centers, and Housing and Residential Life.
Welcoming Diversity Workshop
Demontrates the stereotypes that challenge our relationships across group lines and provides skills to interrupt oppressive comments, jokes, and slurs.
Leadership for Diversity Institute (3 day)
Prepares students, faculty and staff to facilitate the "Welcoming Diversity" workshop.
Leadership Clinic
Assesses individual and group skills for leading in diverse communities and organizations, and addresses an array of key leadership and managerial skills.
Coalition Building Workshop
Students, faculty, and staff learn skills for bringing diverse elements of a community or organization together to successfully achieve common goals.
Controversial Issues Process
Demonstrates a method for assisting diverse groups to move forward when emotionally-charged conflicts arise and develop problem-solving strategies.
